Frequently Asked Questions
An agent does this for free. Why would I pay for this?
Agents apply to roles that are financially viable to them and generally do not apply to non-paying or "low-paying" roles, even if you want to pursue them. However, if you want to grow your resume or diversity your roles, investing in an administrative assistant could be beneficial for the following reasons:
You want to expand role possibilities. Many agents will not submit actors for roles in which the agent will not get a significant commission. As a result, you may miss out on non-paying and "low-paying" roles that could be beneficial for you as an actor, but not financially viable for your agent.
You do not yet have an agent. If you are not represented, you will need to apply yourself. This service saves you time and effort while providing support, consistency, and accountability.
You want to invest in your career. If you are investing in classes, it may also be worth investing in possible professional experience. A class can help hone your skills, but experience can help build your resume, reel, and IMDb credits. Consider both investments in your career and yourself.
If you are an actor aiming to attract agency representation or want to expand your role possibilities, investing this service could be valuable for you.
How are you different from an agency?
We are a service that applies to roles through your own self-submission accounts as administrative assistants.
Unlike agents, we DO NOT
Guarantee auditions or employment
Procure, offer, promise, or attempt to procure employment or engagements on your behalf. As your administrative assistants, we apply as you and you are responsible for procuring your own employment/engagements.
Negotiate contracts
Take a percentage of any possible earnings
Represent you in any way
In the event you are offered an audition, it is your responsibility to secure the role, including any possible compensation (all of which belongs to you).
Agents are beneficial in that they can and must handle the above for you. An assistance service can help you attract representation and/or supplement an agent's offerings.
Why don't I need to pay you a commission?
Your subscription covers assisted self-submission only. We do not handle your compensation, nor do we take a percentage of any possible earnings. Further, You may want us to apply for unpaid roles, which means that a commission would not apply. Unlike booking through an agent, booking through assisted self-submission means that you can pursue unpaid roles and 100% of earnings from any paid roles belong to you.
Can you guarantee auditions, roles, or employment?
Unfortunately, no. We can guarantee regular applications to your specifications with a 14-day money back satisfaction guarantee. You may cancel your subscription at any time. However, each actor will have different results in both auditions, roles, and employment offered.
You can strengthen your self-application platform profile to improve the chance of audition offers, but you are responsible for these materials.
